Our Story
Italian Roots, International Vision.
For over 50 years, K-Adriatica has been passionately and expertly engaged in the formulation of innovative products designed to meet increasingly demanding agriculture and high-quality standards. Our story begins in the late 1960s in Cologna Veneta, with the founding of Kappa S.p.A., a specialist in complex granular fertilisers.
To meet the challenges of international markets, in the 1990s the company strategically relocated production to Loreo (Rovigo), inaugurating Italy’s first compaction plant and establishing K-Adriatica. Today we are an international Group combining historical expertise with new global challenges, cultivating a reputation of excellence while staying true to our roots.

Historical Recovery
It began with the recovery of potassium salts from sugar beet by-products.
This pioneering insight set the course for a circular economy model, transforming agro-industrial by-products into high-value nutrients, while reducing environmental impact.
Circular Economy
We analyse by-products from major agri-food supply chains to identify new functional molecules.
Through an accurate process of tests in the laboratory and in the field, we convert these elements into nutritional solutions that outperform individual active ingredients.
Unique Formulations
We transform production waste, such as Italmalt maltings, into valuable resources (e.g. malt rootlet hydrolysate), combining biological efficiency with sustainability.
These natural components, rich in amino acids and peptides, stimulate plant metabolic processes, ensuring vigorous growth even under environmental stress.
